Car Invades Sidewalk, Killing One, Injuring Two Pedestrians
On the evening of March 24 (Thursday), a car in Hangzhou, Zhejiang suddenly rushed onto the sidewalk and hit people, killing at least one person and injuring two others. A white car flew onto a sidewalk knocking down a pedestrian instantly. The scene was a mess, and many cars parked on the side of the road were damaged. According to a notice issued by the local police, at about 6 o'clock in the evening on Thursday, a car hit a person in the north area of Yile New Village, Gudang, Hangzhou. At least one person was killed and two injured when a white car slammed onto the sidewalk, knocking over multiple people. On-site description: "According to the people at the place where the incident occurred, the white car that caused the accident was at the current location. After the accident, the car drove along this road and fled all the way to the east, causing a bigger accident ahead." The driver involved has been taken into custody. The case is under further investigation. |
