Two Killed in NYC After Driver of Speeding, Stolen Car Ploughs Into Sidewalk
The driver of an allegedly stolen Carsped across the Manhattan Bridge and lost control, striking and killing two people before careening into an NYPD van Saturday morning, police said. The grisly scene unfolded just before 7:30 a.m., when a blue Chevrolet Malibu plowed into 55-year-old Kevin C. and 63-year-old May K. on a bench at Bowery and Canal Street, police said. Kevin (pictured), an avid cyclist, was riding when he was hit, whilst May was sitting on a bench nearby. The Chevy, which had Wisconsin license plates, also struck a parked, empty NYPD van nearby, totalling it. Both victims died at the scene while the driver — who had turned 23 Friday — and her female passenger, 22, tried to flee on foot and were taken into custody nearby. The vehicle was “full of booze and drugs,” including pills, marijuana and a bottle of alcohol, police sources said. The passenger had rented the car, which had Wisconsin license plates, last month but hadn’t returned it when it was due on June 29th, sources added. Both women were taken to hospital, with police obtaining a warrant to test them for drugs. They have not yet been charged with any crimes. The driver (first photo) and the passenger are apprehended. There appeared to be blood on both their clothes. |

At least the person on the bench was completely oblivious to it. Or is that somehow worse? Going about your day and lights out. No warning. Dunno

It's not all of them, but it's always them.

These people worked their whole life and were relaxing, only to have their lives get ended by a fool. This is more proof that there's more to this life than we think. People like these deserve punishment of levels that are impossible to ever reach in this worldly life.
