Re: Two Immigrants Drown Being Trapped in Muddy Water
I seriously pray for some of you pieces of shite, to meet your karma in the worst way imaginable. Whatever it may be. You fucking deserve it. God let it pain you to the depths of hell.

The boy was clinging to the root mass of a thick stand of reeds that bordered the drowning area. Drownings often occur just feet away from relatively safe areas.

Re: Two Immigrants Drown Being Trapped in Muddy Water
How in the hell does someone lose reticles and/or process recipes? Shouldn't recipes be stored on each tool or at least on floppy disks? I am assuming you are referring to 150mm or less wafer fabs without automation and certainly without AMHS. Even so, it sounds pretty reckless to lose process recipes, especially if the data was classified material. I especially do not understand how someone loses photolithography reticles. Those are extremely expensive and in many ways, are blueprints for IC designs. I guess scenarios such as this would be far less likely today in a 300 or 450mm facility where everything is automated and integrated with AMHS. I miss working in this field, got laid off 7 years ago, foreign competition flooding the markets and a useless CEO at the helm. Surprised that company survived and is doing well today. |

I bet if these guys were white, you would be laughing instead of going off on one of your typical, obtuse diatribes. You only get offended when snarky comments involve non-white folks. Am I right?

Re: Two Immigrants Drown Being Trapped in Muddy Water
It was an analog design in bipolar. I think the original was on 100mm wafers. They had yield problems not with the IC but with the entire assembly. They burned thru their remaining ICs because of yield problems and ran out. We actually fixed their circuit / improved their yield (wasn't our job but we are naive enough to be patriotic Americans). We improved their yield and lost business because they don't need as many of our IC now that the yield is high. How did they loose the reticles / design? They never told me. They are turds at all of their businesses, I have worked with this large corporations other non-aerospace groups and they all shit on suppliers. There are so many smaller companies that have gone out of business, it could have been their small analog IC supplier vanished and they are such cheap skates they didn't get enough ICs at the last time buy. |

Re: Two Immigrants Drown Being Trapped in Muddy Water
On major news for this?? No way! Just come straight to DR for the good stuff. Drownings start so simple, then thrashing, then always end silently with hardly a surface ripple. |
