Two Dead, Multiple Injured, At Mexican Club After Railing Collapses
In San Luis Potosí, Mexico, two young people died and multiple others (initial reports said fifteen) were injured (five seriously) at the "Rich" club when one of the glass railings on the third floor, unable to handle the hoard of clubgoers, broke. The victims plummeted around twelve metres before landing on the ground. The deceased were identified as Manuel A.I.P., 21, and Rodrigo E.A., 17. It was reported that the establishment was crowded due to a planned performance by musician Kevin Moreno, causing clubgoers to gather in the exterior hallways of the club. The pressure exerted against the glass railings proved to be too much, culminating in its collapse. |

The survivor in the white shirt who was first to hop up and trot away had a "soft" landing provided by another victim.
