Two Dead After Taxi Driver Crashes, Setting Vehicle Alight
Ta Khmau, Kandal province, Cambodia A Toyota Prius taxi driver, who was transporting two passengers in his vehicle, was speeding when he crashed into a median, causing the vehicle to overturn and catch fire. The 21-year-old driver, Ban S., who suffered a broken arm, was pulled out of the vehicle by locals, but the blaze intensified, preventing the locals from extricating the passengers, who both burned to death. They were identified as 23-year-old Mr. Khai S., and 21-year-old Ms. Thy S. - they were in a relationship with each other. |
