Re: Two Chops Beheading Like a Pro
The human brain will remain conscious for about 10 seconds after loss of its blood supply, so in the absence of any other head trauma, yeah, he's not only alive but KNOWS what just happened to him for several seconds afterward. What a trip. |

Re: Two Chops Beheading Like a Pro
Yeah baby. The ol "how long does someone stay alive after beheading" debate is definitely going to be solved by the gore world soon. It is probably only a matter of time until someone has a full HD beheading video with a camera zoomed super close to the face and a swift beheading and a clear picture of the facial response to it. |

Re: Two Chops Beheading Like a Pro
Anyone who is suggesting a head stays alive any amount of time after the neck starts to quickly bleed is ignorant. There is a reason a solid headlock can make some pass out within seconds. Once blood flow is cut off to the brain, it shuts down to save itself. This is no different when you cut someones neck open and they bleed out in seconds. They are done moments after that first large blood flow begins. The brain loses pressure and shuts down, anything after that is nerves and reflex of the body trying to stay alive.

Re: Two Chops Beheading Like a Pro
That eye movement was surreal - like despite not having a body anymore, he fainted Apparently you can be alive for up to 3 seconds after decapitation as that's the time it takes for the oxygenated blood to leave the brain tissue |
