A couple who died on the 3rd in an accident with a heavy vehicle on Route 27 were on their way to fish.

According to the Judicial Investigation Agency, the victims were identified as J.L.L., 54, and L.C.B., 75.

According to the authorities, the incident occurred at around 8:12 am, at the entrance to Bahia Salinas, Costa Rica. The deceased were travelling on a motorbike when they collided with a trailer and were declared dead at the scene.

Through social networks, witnesses described the terrible scene where both bodies were left decapitated on the street.

The accident happened around 09h50 this Wednesday (04/01), in the lane towards Avenida Brazil, of the Rio-Magé highway, at the height of the Jardim Anhangá neighborhood, in Rio de Janeiro.
