Turkish Sports Club President Shot Dead Whilst Having Meal at Café
Çekmeköy, Istanbul, Turkey Tuncay Meriç, 49, the president of Alemdağ Sports Club, was killed in a shooting while having a meal at a café. It has been reported that the murder, captured on camera, stemmed from a debt-related issue. |

The guy sitting at the table behind the victim gets up immediately after the shooting and gets out a hand gun that is clearly visible. The killer just ran off too quickly or he might have gotten shot

never knew what hit him. The killer E.H was captured by police in an operation conducted in the Uzunköprü district center as a result of intelligence work and intense surveillance. G.K, the owner of the house where E.H was caught was trying to smuggle him out of the country, was also apprehended on Hayrabolu Street in the Muradiye neighborhood that same night. G.K was detained and was wanted for "enabling a Turkish citizen or foreigner to travel abroad" and faces a 2.5-year prison sentence.  · |
