"Dit klink soos vet oppie vuur" lol this translates to: This smells/ sounds like fat on the fire. In SA we love a good "braai" or a barbecue

Re: Trying to Steal Copper Cables Ended in Death for This Thief
When we lived in Africa, the fridge would sometimes shock you when you touched it! That little fucking jolt was enough to give me a very healthy respect when it came to anything 'electrical.' With that kind of electrical current - I recon that dude never felt a thing. It was so powerful, and so quick, all he saw was big fuckin 'shiny stars!' Ever try and get a piece of toast that's stuck in the toaster, with a knife...? Nahh? WELL...DON'T!! (Another 'wake up call' for me!) Africans have been stealing copper wire in Africa for 100's of years. Not even 'death by electricity' will stop them! You wanna know why? (Besides the fact that it's shiny and pretty and makes nice jewellery) You see, it's 'INVISIBLE!' If they can't see it, it's not there! They'll say, "you see, this 'oakie' here? He died from 'fire.' You see the fire on the ground. Check it, there (pointing to the fire) He was cooking and he got cooked right up instead." They'll never believe that pinching copper wire is dangerous! They'll just say to eachother, "Just don't make a fire to cook when you are close to copper wire." |

[QUOTE=RUTHIE7;6509683]When we lived in Africa, the fridge would sometimes shock you when you touched it! That little fucking jolt was enough to give me a very healthy respect when it came to anything 'electrical.' Ever try and get a piece of toast that's stuck in the toaster, with a knife...? Nahh? WELL...DON'T!! (Another 'wake up call' for me!) We had a fridge like that in the states back in the day. Don't open it barefoot or while touching anything else. I also tried the toaster trick once. I still look at toasters sideways. |
