Truck Rammed Cars at Tollbooth Killing at Least 3 People
Honduras, Last Friday around 8:20 AM a white truck suffering a mechanic failure ( brakes i guess) hit two cars waiting at the tollbooth. As a result 4 people died, so far, and two got injured. In the red civic a woman and a man died while a minor got severly injured. In the black car a woman died. Other sources mentioned 3 died but maybe the minor died in the Hospital. H. E. P. (46), E. A. (both males) en M.G. Quite confusing as some other news source mentiones: The heavy vehicle that caused three deaths and two injuries in a toll booth in northern Honduras, was stolen by several delinquents who were fleeing with a load of grains, was reported this afternoon. Police doing investigations to determine the veracity of the emerged versions. The first versions, broadcast by the radio station HRN, show that the heavy vehicle that caused the tragedy in the toll booth was stolen by thieves. The driver of the heavy unit was kicked from the vehicle and left tied in an area near the accident site, according to the same version. The owner of the unit reported that the thieves were fleeing with the merchandise in the heavy truck, however the lack of expertise caused the tragedy that claimed the lives of three people and left two more wounded. The driver of the truck was found alive and taken to a health center to recover from the trauma experienced this Friday. The heavy truck was carrying a shipment of basic grains from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa, capital of the country. When police officers arrived at the scene of the accident they realized that the driver of the heavy unit was not present and after the investigations it was confirmed that it was being driven by criminals, whose whereabouts are unknown. |

The minor was not pronounced dead until he arrived at the hospital since his methane mask was still on, but his head light made it easier to spot him in the wreck.
