Ecuador. A woman tragically lost her life this morning after being crushed by a container while walking along the road, near the entrance to a wholesale market, near a gas station.

The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. According to information provided by the Ecuadorian Transit Commission, the victim, approximately 30 years old, was traveling in the area when the container suddenly detached and fell on her, causing immediate death.

The upper part of the body was the most affected. Guayaquil Fire Department personnel, using specialized equipment, assisted in the recovery efforts reported.

The woman, who has not yet been identified, was wearing black leggings, a cream-colored blouse, and sneakers.

At 7:30 a.m., her body was transported in a Forensic Medicine vehicle to the Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences Laboratory, where the corresponding autopsy will be performed.
