Couple on Motorcycle Tried to Rob Driver, Ends Up Getting Run Over
Guayaquil, Ecuador A man and a woman, suspected of attempted armed robbery, died after being struck by a car on the afternoon of October 2nd. The couple were on a motorcycle, and a firearm was found in their possession. They had apparently attempted to rob the driver of a Jetour SUV, but the driver instead gave chase, and ended up ramming his vehicle into the two robbers, killing them at the scene. The bodies of the robbers were left at the scene for seven hours - according to police, since the couple were suspected of a crime, the police had to wait for an order from the criminal prosecutor, not the traffic prosecutor, before removing the bodies. |
