Over a month old, but the video of the beating has only now surfaced, although with no sound.

Apparently, they had went on a date with an elderly man, and then stole 600 reals ($112) and a drill. The elderly man was the foster father of a city inspector, who enlisted the support of two co-workers and a local drug dealer to gain revenge.

Thanks for the follow up posting on this. He obviously suffered a shitload before he succumbe.. Moral to the story is: DON'T STEAL and Hate crimes suck.. Even in the jungle
