Well that was fucking stupid. You don't walk that close to a tall vehicle like that. If you can't see the driver, they probably can't see you either. That's I was taught when i was a kid in elementary school. They taught us to cross at least 10 feet in front of the bus, that way the driver can see you. Some buses now come with arms that extent out from the front bumper when the bus is making a stop to force you to walk out in front of it. Otherwise, something like this can happen. |

Absolutely no purpose here! As I already pointed out in commenting several posts like this (truck vs pedestrians) if someone attempts crossing the road at such a close range before your truck you actually doesn't see him/her from your driving seat. It was solely the policeman's fault.
