Haha… Oui, it’s a pop culture reference. Mostly seen in “hood” culture movies and stuff. One that comes to mind is Don’t be a menace in South Central while drinking your juice in the hood. One of the funniest movies ever that totally makes fun of hood culture, if you haven’t seen it you must!! It’s an old 90’s film but it’s a classic.

The most famous quote about popping a cap in someone’s ass is Samuel L Jackson’s from Pulp Fiction haha. But yea it’s used a lot in gang movies and such… and yea it means shooting someone but usually in the context of killing them.

And as for Pulp Fiction... Well I've watched it both in french dubbing and original version, I can't remember when he refers to capping an ass
