Brazilian Woman Found Dead - Head Was Skinned
Tamandaré, Pernambuco, Brazil

A 47-year-old woman, Silvanice B.L., was found dead in a rural area of Tamandaré. Her hair had been shaved off, and her head was skinned.

Silvanice worked as a municipal community health agent. Her partner was taken to a police station, where he was questioned and released. The Civil Police have not yet indicated whether the case will be investigated as murder.
