Three Men and a Woman Found Shot Dead Inside a KIA
Ecuador. Three men and a woman were killed yesterday afternoon near a catholic church on the Playas-Data road, Guayas province, after an armed attack on the vehicle they were traveling in. According to preliminary information from the police, the incident occurred around 4:45 p.m., when individuals on two motorcycles intercepted the black KIA and opened fire. The vehicle crashed into a building. At the scene, agents collected at least 10 spent 9mm casings, nine 5.56mm casings, six deformed bullets and one cartridge, in addition to several cell phones. Two of the victims were identified as Carlos E. G. A, 34, and Jorge P. Z. C, 42. The other two deceased—a man and a woman—remain unidentified. Police, military personnel, and staff from the Ecuadorian Transit Commission (CTE) arrived at the location, while forensic and medical examiners removed the bodies and collected the evidence. he site where the violent incident occurred belongs to the Progreso district , which has recorded 113 violent deaths so far this year, according to preliminary police data. |
