Yep, that's their objective, glorious martyrdom, who needs to commit to the painstaking tasks of following the five pillars year upon year until death? Use the plausible jihad/martyrdom loophole, become a soldier of allah and piously sacrifice yourself for a fastpass to paradise. If this is in fact Al-Shabaab they're a Al-Qaeda affiliate. However they do appear to fly the black standard war flag with the shahada and seal of muhmmad upon it as does ISIS. |
