July 5, 2023- It all began in the Jardim São Cristóvão neighborhood, in São Luís, when a young woman requested a ride through an app, and when the driver arrived at the indicated location, three men appeared who announced a robbery and took the driver hostage.

The trio left in the car with the victim and began to commit robberies, and when the criminals were arriving in Vila Flamengo, the driver saw a military police vehicle and jumped out of the moving car to ask for help.

The military police, upon seeing the situation, went in pursuit of the criminals who were inside the car, and on the run, the robbers lost control of the steering and collided with two vehicles, a motorcycle and a car.

In the collision, the motorcycle rider, named W.S.S., was hit and fell to the ground, his neck crushed by the vehicle in which the criminals were, and the victim, who worked as a delivery man, died at the scene. He was aged nineteen years old.

After the accident, the trio fled, but were captured hours later, and the prisoners were identified as: Iarlison Douglas Sousa Campos, aged thirty three years old, who has several dealings with the police for criminal association, violence against women, theft and robbery; Ronney Ribeiro Oliveira, aged twenty three, who has a history of robbery; and Rafaela Serrão Busson, nineteen years old, with no experience with the police, and the three are residents of the São Cristóvão neighborhood, in São Luís.

There IS no "innocent" party here. Motherfucker on the bike should have looked both ways before crossing that intersection. According to my old driver's manual, when two vehicles approach an intersection at the same time, the person who survives has the right of way.
