Ironic having his life taken from him... thievery is next to buggery, or so should all thieves be! Wonder what he's thinking as those last neurons oscillate with synchronous beta waves between two brain regions as his life passes and he fades to the empty darkness of nothing! |

I can only hope I don`t die like that. His brain is still active because of the reflex breaths. Brain cells live about 4-6 minutes without oxygen. But I think when you suffer injuries like that, your body releases massive amounts of adrenaline and endorphins which acts as natural painkillers.
