On the bright side... My guess is he probably didn't have to pay the extra 5 cents per plastic bag! And I doubt he was harangued and pressured into purchasing those trendy 'green' reusable bags that are all the rage in the US these days! Nope. Just like in the good ol' days... plastic bags... and large ones at that! And no accompanying guilt trip for their supposed impact on the planet, carbon footprint etc! |
