the blue jacket girl who's fighting survived the red hoodie who's fighting with her fell

Seems that the railing fail at the blue jacket girl. Why such crowd tho? Don't they apply social distancing there?

I always avoid crowds like this, no matter what the purpose will be.

Ooh, nice find!

Never trust railing, especially that far up! Shocking that there weren't more casualties. Well done on those who saved others from falling to their doom!

Quote:
March 2 - At least four deaths and two injured would be the balance of a fatal accident at the Public University of El Alto (UPEA) after breaking railings, after it was registered between struggles between different careers.

A.H., UPEA administrator, said that an assembly was being held for the election of the Student Center. "There was an assembly and confrontation, I think that between the shoves the railings were broken and more than six companions fell. From what we could see there were four dead, but they did not let us in, the ambulances and the police arrived"

The dispute was between the students of the administrative and financial carts.

Preliminarily it is known that the students fell because a railing broke on the fourth floor, causing the university students to fall and die.

Oh this is horrific. Poor kids.
I too am amazed more didn’t fall and out of the 9 people I see on the ground...5 survived(?).

That one kid fell into the landing 1 floor below, wow.

I agree to never trust railings, especially when so many people are right there. Though it seems they will try and blame the students for the “broken” railing when it’s shitty railing work.
But as we have seen from other tragedies, don’t trust railings, bridges, skywalks, stairs, escalators, balconies when there are way more people than should be there!
