Re: They Fall from the Fourth Floor
even if they could have, the designers shouldn't have engineered for a thick mob of unruly fighting people. just like skyscrapers shouldn't now all be made to withstand a 500kts collision with a loaded airliner. |

Re: They Fall from the Fourth Floor
Girl in black, black shoes white soles, at the edge: total selfless hero. Nearly pulled to her death, she instead saves a life, maybe two.

Re: They Fall from the Fourth Floor
The girl that started the fight in the middle is the one that survived. You can see a girl in a light blue coat trying to hit a girl in a pink coat, and a pushing and shoving match ensues. That same girl is the one left dangling before being pulled up to safety.

Re: They Fall from the Fourth Floor
Yeah he did, but it's hard to blame him. At that point in time, you wouldn't even be acting on conscious thought. These are motions of pure survival instinct, grabbing for anything to hold onto. I think about the two times I've slipped and fell on the floor... once while getting out of the shower and another when slipping on a melted ice cube in my kitchen... while falling, you can't even really sense what's going on. Your body is out of control and you lose all sense of time and space. It's a weird feeling. And I would imagine these kids had that same sensation when the rail first gave way. You are just on autopilot. |

Re: They Fall from the Fourth Floor
Every country that can stack rocks has building codes, and I'm pretty sure America doesn't build everything "to code" because a railing collapsed in Bolivia
