Assholes that run from the police like this are holding the entire city hostage so they can get away. "Evade Police" doesn't cut it. How about "Attempted Murder". Ask someone whose family member was run over by some asshole who wouldn't stop for police. Mr. Grand Theft Auto deserved every round he took.

the driver of the car was driving in a fashion that severely endangered the well being of civilians in the area as well as the police officers in pursuit. he repeatedly attempted to ram the vehicles and continued to do so after being boxed in. when police officers were within a close enough perimeter to engage and apprehend the perpetrator on foot (arrests can't be made from behind the steering wheel...), they did so, solely performing their sworn duties. the driver continued to drive as the police officer was on the hood of the vehicle attempting to prevent him from going any further, hence he had clear intent to greviously harm or kill the officer, who inevitably had no choice but to discharge his weapon. in my eyes it was a well warranted kill. something like this happened in toronto last year. the first police officer hesitated to use his weapon and was killed by the driver of a stolen snow plow (who does that?). other officers on scene shot the man numerous times and all were cleared by SIU

Um.. what about the tire spikes.. There were units ahead of the chase vehicle that could have deployed them. Im surprised that the suspects airbags didnt deploy after initial impact. The dipshit should have stopped.. He could have hit a minivan with a family in it.. The TOOLBOX got what he deserved....
