I mentioned earlier that alcohol can be given to kids in the UK if they are over 5 years old. And that infants under 5 can be given it in emergencies. Just for reference, the only emergency I can think of where this is appropriate is methanol poisoning. If somebody has drunk methanol or methylated spirits, alcohol can save their life if there is no access to fomepizole aka 4-methyl pirazole (the best antidote). Dialysis may be needed also. Hospital treatment is a must, but it's worth knowing that ethyl alcohol can be a game changer. |

I think it's a mixed bag with cops, just like with any other people. Some are total fucking bell ends, some are intelligent and respectable. I think it must be shit sometimes being a cop because you are constantly paying for the mistakes of your 'less capable' (i.e. retarded) colleagues.
