The precedence has already been set by the indiscriminate bombing of Gaza that civilians are seen as legitimate military targets. If that's how your enemy operates, then why fight with your hands tied behind your back?

You mean so MORE civilians can be killed? You do realize that the IDF killed one of their own citizens in this incident? That guy was trying to help them and even got on his knees to surrender with his hands held high. What happened? He was blasted into oblivion. When situations like this occur, trying to play hero will get you eliminated. |

Allowing the kibbutzes and settlers to arm themselves to the teeth could be an effective solution to prevent this happening in the future  I'm surprised it wasn't already a right written into their constitution considering the jews are settling in lands surrounded by frothing, hostile arabs/Palestinians who generally only want one thing - death to jews and, especially, DEATH TO ISRAEL. There was that first-person bodycam video posted here a few weeks ago where a hamass militantard murderer gets shot as he skulks around a kibbutze, shooting unarmed elderly jews. Who shot him? If it wasn't someone from the kibbutze since they're not allowed to have guns then who? An IDF sniper?
