Teenage Girl Fatally Hit by a Van, Ca.
California, A teenage girl died after she was hit by a van, authorities said. The crash happened about 6:05 a.m. in the area of Western Avenue and Fillmore Drive, Buena Park police said. A video from a neighbor’s security camera shows two females walking into the middle of the street to get a closer look at something, not clearly visible in footage, in the road. There had been a dead cat there since the night before, neighbors said. A woman took a step forward to get even closer to the cat, the video shows, while the other person remained behind and was struck. The victim’s name was not immediately available. The driver pulled over, cooperated with police and was not arrested, police said. |
