You can render a person unconscious quickly by a 'sleeper hold' which restricts blood flow to the brain. Then, while they are unconscious, cut off air flow and - after a few minutes - they will die. You could, as generally in hanging, cut off air flow only but then there is a lot of thrashing about. I can imagine some of these women not being too attached to living the life they were consigned to anyway. There are worse things than death. |
