Turkey took control of Afrin after a military incursion alongside allied Syrian fighters in 2018, and thousands of troops are stationed there and this attack, among many other previous attacks, was at a military outpost and a market next to it. Maybe not the wisest place to hold a market. |

My parents always used to tell me that my room looked like a bomb went off in it. Maybe I’m just getting old, because I don’t recall ever having a room that looked like a 3rd world shithole.  |
