He doesn't seem to be losing a lot of blood. It looks like the wound just barely missed his jugular veins and he is breathing through his severed trachea. He's not gushing blood, and he's fully conscious. The real problem would be infection - he survived the wound but could die from infection, especially there where the medical supplies are almost exhausted. I wish someone would help these poor Syrians. It's time for dictators to go!

I agree. The wound looks treatable. But, only if you've the medical supplies needed.

That made my throat hurt. And ffs, the doctors/nurses in these places seem to give a shit about patients...they make the ones who do care look bad.
