It is specific protocol to never advance with a drawn weapon within arms reach of a combatant. And this is why. She fucked up and almost got herself, the bus driver, and her partner killed. She needs to put on parking lot duty and stripped of her service weapon for the safety of the public and fellow officers.

Why there is no mixed gender boxing or mixed gender running, jumping, basketball, football etc. Are they all trying to insult woman or is there a obvious natural physical difference between man and woman. I am not saying woman are inferior than man but a job that may require physical confrontation with male criminals should not be given to females, and if you think this sexist against woman its opposite of that because i think there should be more woman in managing positions in police. |

This happens all the time in the UK same sort of thing, but we have tasers not guns just a standard arrest, our death rate in the UK is almost 0.01% in comparison to the 10000000000 they have in the USA every year.  |

Sorry to hear that. That you think 10 billion people are killed in America by police every year. That would be like police killing every American like 27 times. But seriously, it does happen often in America. Really, this guy didn't need to be shot. They probably could have tased him. But this is America, and most of the nation is armed. I wonder what would happen if everyone in the UK was given a gun. Would it still be a relatively safe place? The way I see it, the UK still owes America, and likely will forever owe America. So although you may believe the UK is "better". You owe it to America to stfu.  Not only did America save you from certain defeat in the world wars. And you owed us for that, but I consider that debt paid. The UK owes us for keeping England from breaking into civil war in the 1600's on until the American revolution. I know America wasn't exactly America yet, but it was. England wasn't doing very well, and its people were not happy. But England had an excellent plan b for the people not happy with the situation, whether it was economic, religious, or political. Move to the "New World". Yes it was an exaggeration (jokingly) not an accurate estimate.. Guns were all legal when I was a child when I lived in the UK and still... If you are going to go back in time then you will find that you are founded by British people. The United Kingdom owes you nothing. WW2 without the British may very well have ended with the defeat of the USA as the German forces would have been a hell of a lot stronger. - In fact - I think it was the British Spitfire and code breakers that won the war?? We are currently trying to deal with the huge backlash from your Iraq slaughter that our stupid government half agreed to help with. Personal I think the UK should be armed and I think it could be its downfall, not having a domestic defense is stupid. I was merely hinting that US police should use tasers more not guns.
