India. While road construction work was going on a supervisor was crushed to death by a reversing road roller.

Immediately after the accident, the local citizens rushed the man to the hospital, but he died before treatment.

The accident took place on Saturday at around 4 pm when two workers of a private company were working on road construction and at this time, the supervisor was walking right behind the road roller and was telling something to the driver.

Suddenly, the road roller started moving backwards and due to minor negligence, the supervisor was crushed under the iron wheels before he knew it.

In this horrific accident, the supervisor died on the spot.

The deceased was a sub-contractor and the person who was driving the vehicle was working under him.

I think the problem was actually that the supervisor ended up working under the driver!

I see two things here.

First, complacency. Dumb to be walking so close, especially behind, a piece of machinery like that.

Second, I didn't hear the loud annoying reversing beeper that is usually installed on such machines ... in first world countries, anyway.

This is why in the UK they put up warning signs that say "CAUTION - HEAVY PLANT IN OPERATION", which always makes me think of the Little Shop of Horrors.

I wonder what king of accident would have occurred had it been a major negligence.

I don't think it was an accident, I think the driver intentionally ran over his boss because of unwanted ass grabbing. You can see in the video where the boss comes up to the back of the roller and grabs the operators ass after which he is rolled flat.
