Re: Suicide - Man vs Tower

emerson had tried to kill himself at other times on the grounds of personal problems. Could have ended worse as at the start of the rescue action, the Police Security Operations Center (CIOPS) activated Energisa to shut down that power grid. A company official (identified by police) was at the scene and told the rescuers and negotiators that they had received information via radio, that the on-site power grid had been turned off. A firefighter was preparing to climb the pole, when Emerson reached the top of the pole and received the electric discharge and fell 26 meters.
After the incident, another Energisa employee (also identified by the police) presented himself to the police and rescuers as responsible for the local Electricity Network, saying that he would be responsible for the disconnection of the network, but stated that he did not request a shutdown because he wasn't sure which network should be turned off.

Re: Suicide - Man vs Tower

Wow! It’s rare to have such a close-up when a body hits the ground in these situations.

They can rule out CPR. Too dangerous while his lungs are on fire.

[heavy sarcasm font]
Good work, cameraman. Except for the electrocution and hitting the ground you got all the important parts.
