Re: Suicide Jumpers From The Movie, The Bridge
When you fall at such height, you hit the water like youre hitting a brick wall at million miles per minute (exaggerated but you get the point). What I heard is that your bones are instantly broken, completley shattered, your vital organs are pierced and you might still be alive, concious or unconcious, youre going to feel excrusiating pain while you drown. It is not a guaranteed that you will instantly die. Just like falling off a building, not guaranteed youll die from that instantly I remember hearing something like this on a medical show a few years ago. |

Re: Suicide Jumpers From The Movie, The Bridge
I saw it a few years ago on a movie channel, and the entire movie is on Hulu now. There was a lot of controversy, because the film makers didn't tell any of the jumpers' friends that they already had footage of them jumping. One jumper on the film survived. "as soon as I let go of the railing, I knew it was a mistake". I wonder how many others think that during their fall.

Re: Suicide Jumpers From The Movie, The Bridge
yes its because the surface tension is so great, you hit it with enough force to rend your body asunder, it just has the impact force strong enough to eject limbs from your body...^_^ i love this bridge! |
