Re: Suicide Jumpers From The Movie, The Bridge
The impact could easily make you explode (Pop)... Think about it, how sore it is doing a belly-flop into your pool at home, from about 1-2 metres... So that will definitely do some damage. |

If you want just a fraction of a fraction of a fraction what is feels like to hit water flat. Just go to your local pool, climb the high dive, then hit the water flat on your back and feel how much the water "gives". It's pretty damn near concrete.

Re: Suicide Jumpers From The Movie, The Bridge
It's possible to survive the fall (depending on how you land) but its much less likely that you will retain consciousness and be able to swim the 25 feet back to the surface through the freezing cold water without drowining or being eaten by a shark. The odds are firlmy stacked against you. The last guy who did the backwards fall had a live journal. He was pretty down on life. His name was Gene Sprague. His positive attitude is on display here: http://freekboyg.livejournal.com/ |
