Just a rough calculation.. The jumper dropped the last 6 metres in about 0.2 seconds, so his speed was close to 108 km /hr or 68 mph . For a man of average size, that would put his drop distance at about 40 metres, or typically around the 13th floor of a high rise building. I haven't analysed the footage frame by frame, so my numbers need a 50 % margin for error, but I think I'm in the right area. |
