Cyanide is supposed to be a "painless" death. There are rumors that the Apollo Astronauts all carried cyanide tablets, but they wouldn't confirm it. I don't think anyone has lived to describe the experience. But what you hear is his airway obstructing because cause of muscle relaxation and hypoxia. |

There's also the possibilty that the mob or organized crime of some sort was involved. He might have'borrowed' money from people he couldn't pay back, and knew he was screwed....

Yeah I don't think that was cyanide. He prob got it from a bad source. A real industrial strength cyanide would have killed him instantly. It was probably ratsack that some junkie told him was cyanide, and took his last $3000. You can imagine, he was probably pretty desperate by that time.

I agree also, I was under the assumption that cyanide was nearly an instant unconsciousness and death after consumption. Doesn't it only take like a few grains of salt worth to kill you? Also how the hell would you go about getting a hold of real cyanide anyways? It is extremely dangerous to work with and you would need someone with a degree in chemistry and an understanding of the dangers to properly cook up a batch and capsule the stuff without killing themselves. I guess if you have the money it probably wouldn't be that hard to find? Seemed like an awfully long time to take effect indeed.. If one were to take rat poison that contains cyanide would this be the effect? |
