Suicidal Man Falls to His Death During Rescue Operation from 15th Floor
A middle-aged man decided to throw himself of the fifteenth floor of a highrise building complex in the Lima Province, Peru to end his life. The suicidal man entered the building under the pretention of asking for information in order to buy an apartment; however, in an oversight he climbed onto the roof of the building. Agents of the Rescue Police tried to persuade him of his drastic decision but the man did not accept to be rescued and when he was hanging from the building a quick action of one of the agents resulted in the agent clamping onto him. However, the rescue officer let go of holding the hand/arm of one of the other officers which resulted in a short drop. Due to the weight of the suicidal man he could not hold him anymore so the man fell on the balcony of one of the third floor apartments. The non-commissioned rescue officer, who launched himself to catch the suicidal man, certified that the man, apparently 50 years old, did not accept being taken off the wall of the fifteenth floor, nor did he say why he decided to end his life. In addition, the man demanded not to approach him. "Do not come near" he told and looked everywhere, he was beside himself. The man ended up lifeless on the balcony of the third floor. The inhabitants of the building indicated that they never saw the suicide and that there is only one guard at the door. "There are still apartments for sale but that man came with the intention of killing himself, took advantage of an oversight to go up," said a neighbor. Studies indicate that in December, cases of depression and suicides increase by 40%, especially in older adults and women. In December the Christmas depression comes to the surface due to the loss of a loved one, unrealized goals, loneliness, lack of money or work, among other causes, a psychiatrist tells. When the state of depression increases and the symptoms worsen there are high chances that suicidal behaviors increase in depressed people, this is where family and specialist support is essential. Put 3 clips into 1. Middle part is already posted in a compilation vid but with the extra footage and info i decided to create a thread of its own. |

Damn, never seen a close rescue like that before... rescue guy seemed to have him before they fell, I doubt he could have held onto the suicidal guy after the fall - too much momentum.
