Re: Suicidal Jumper Landed on Top of Passing Car Killing the Driver and Himself
He looks like he’s still breathing as his hand on his stomach is going up and down.

Re: Suicidal Jumper Landed on Top of Passing Car Killing the Driver and Himself
I'm always going to say the same about suicide. Most people about to kill themselves have no rational thoughts left at all. They do it in the heat of the moment, they don't think straight, consequences (apart from their suffering ending which can be so painful they just have to get away from it) do not come in to it. In a few rare cases some suicidal people can have some rational thoughts left. These are the ones that put notes on their front door etc, telling people to not come in, and call the police instead. But this is rare. Those types of people are the ones you usually see feeling happier in the days before they do the deed, because they know what they are going to do and have it all planned out. This guy, I'm guessing, and I feel pretty certain, was a heat of the moment action caused by intense suffering. Also we don't know what the reason for it was. Life situations? Hopelessness is always a good one for suicide. But he could also have had a mental illness, such as schizophrenia causing disjointed thinking, paranoia. Maybe he thought he was running from the devil. Seriously, don't judge suicidal people by how your own mind is working. |
