Suicidal Hanger Cut Down
17 year old girl hung herself this weekend. The DSI report stated that she had broken two fingers trying to pull at the noose before she likely lost consciousness and strangled. They're not certain whether she got them caught in the rope accidentally or if she had second thoughts, but couldn't get the rope loosened before passing out. Rough deal either way; means her final moments probably weren't too pleasant. The side of her neck is pretty badly torn up where she was digging with her fingers. The report also indicated that she had minor fractures in the backs of both of her feet from kicking so hard against the wall while she was in the noose. |

When I was a kid, a 17 year old friend of mine took an overdose of pills because some girl left him. His family found his body in the hallway. It looked like he had been trying to make it to a phone as if he'd likely changed his mind. Too late though.  RIP, Tony. |
