Student Dies by Shot in the Neck After Refusing to Give His Phone to a Robber

Brazilian university student P.H.G.D.S, 24, was shot dead after being the victim of a robbery last Thursday afternoon. The crime took place in front of his 20-year-old sister, who is also studying at a private college. The young man is the son of a well known hairdresser.

He was shot in the neck with a gun. His sister, who witnessed the murder, preferred not to be identified.

The robbery took place around 1:30 pm, and when the Military and Civil Police teams arrived at the scene, the victim's body was in the street, protected by an umbrella.

The victim's sister told that they left home to go to the market. As they rounded the corner, two thugs appeared on a motorcycle.

She also said that a thief demanded their cell phones. She handed over her phone, but her brother did not deliver the phone and tried to pull the assailant's gun.

The victim and his sister had been in town for two years studying physical education.

The family is devastated by the boy's death.

Shortly after the murder two suspects were arrested. The victim's sister, who witnessed the crime, said he was shot. “He was the only person I had here,” she said.

According to the Military Police, the arrests took place in the same region. The teams also seized a firearm and the motorcycle used in the crime. PM's found the stolen cell phone.

The police found out about the suspects from the motorcycle's license plate number. It was possible to observe the numbering of the vehicle through the security cameras on the road.

In addition to the two suspects, two more people were taken for investigation. They are suspected of involvement in the crime. The victim's sister was called to testify.

The two suspects were taken to the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP), in the same region of the city.

The young woman reported that everything happened very quickly. “We were on the sidewalk, near the corner. The bike came in silence and we didn't see it”, she said.

The witness also reported that the criminal who was riding the motorcycle was wearing a helmet, but the other was unprotected.

You're absolutely right, but we are looking at it from the perspective of a detached observer. Unfortunately, us humans sometimes become the hostages of our own emotions. Maybe the guy had had a rough day, and he was letting off steam with his sister, and some motherfucker just comes up and asks for his phone.

I know if it was me in that kind of a scenario, BEFORE WATCHING THIS VIDEO, of course, I would have been like "Fuck YOU, motherfucker!".....and mainly because I would never in a thousand years imagine that a piece of plastic with a cracked backside and a bunch of my dick pics on it would be worth enough to ANYONE for them to shoot me in the brain just to obtain it.

This video really pissed me off. Like I said at the beginning of this rant, he really SHOULD have given his phone to these fuckers, but with some kind of search option installed, so he could find out where they lived and driven one of those exploding Asian rickshaws with barrels of diesel fuel right into their fucking living room. Something like this happened to me years ago, i've posted the story before so I wont go into details, but the short version is 2 dudes came up behind me on a bicycle, they attempted to grab my phone while I was walking, I managed to hold onto it, they continued to ride ahead of me but would look back at me a few times, and I was on some cocky shit "yeah try that shit again", they did, they failed again but this time they stopped to confront me, one dude had his hands in his waistband like he was going to pull something (but never did), and they said some racist shit, claimed they were in a gang, told me not to come back to that area and left.

I got outta that situation because I mind fucked them into thinking I was ready to fight both and knew what I was doing (I was bluffing). Even though nothing really happened, it still fucked me up for a while.

If one of those dudes did pull something though, I would've given them all my shit, and wouldn't even dream of walking towards them like the dude in this video, that was a no-win situation. The dude was already on the retreat when the gun was pulled.
