I'll second that. I have snorkeled for years. The prop makes a high pitched whine that you hear for hundreds of yards. There has never been a doubt for me when a boat is approaching or moving away. The noise would have been deafening at that close of range. You would have to be a fucking imbecile not to have known what was coming. Darwinian at its best.
