There’s a great book about this fire called “Killer Show” I’d recommend everyone check out. Really does a deep dive. The book flew really under the radar but is one of my favorites.

Outstanding post! Ugh...those death wails were horrific!  I can't believe someone lived that long thru that. They might have been brain dead, just the body fighting to get air/stay alive. The screams slowly get less and less...lower and lower until all you hear is that one poor soul fighting to stay alive and the fire crackling. This will stay with me for a good while. Thanks much, Meridian!  My heart goes out to the victims, their friends and families. What a shame. |

Just watched a pretty good documentary on the tragedy on TUBI called: America's Deadliest Rock Concert: The Guest List Stories and background on the victims and their families and friends, interviews with survivors, and legal proceedings. |

This guy i knew has a sister who died there. He was kinda an asshole. His sister had a nice rack. I could care less for his loss or his familys loss but she was cool.

I was caught in a building fire in New York city 30 years ago, most horrifying shit I was ever involved in, everybody panics, you cant breathe, you cant see shit, people so crazed with fear they will try to kill you to get out which is why I cant stand crowds
