For anyone that wants a great account of this incident and an amazing true crime read in general, there's an excellent book out called "Killer Show" written by John Barylick, one of the lawyers that worked on building the case against the parties responsible for the fire. it's an engrossing account told from many angles including firsthand
stories from patrons that were caught in the fire and made it out and relatives of those who didn't, and also very succinctly is able to pinpoint the causes and negligence that led to this tragedy. I read it in the summer last year and loved it.

I actually just started reading it after seeing this video the other day. It's really interesting so far! It's available on Google Play Books, too

The most important thing we must all remember when evacuating a burning building: When filming a blazing inferno from the inside, always be sure to stop in the emergency exits, slow down the progression of the evacuation so that you can pan your camera back over the terrifying devastation unfolding behind you.

Yes, MOST people panic and become utterly USELESS in times of need. I MYSELF am NOT one of them. I actually HAVE saved lives, I HAVE ran into burning buildings when everyone else was running out, I HAVE ran toward the GUNFIRE while everyone else is running AWAY, so unless you have done any of that, YOU are WAY OUT OF YOUR LANE and need to STFU, NOT ME!
