I was unaware footage like this existed. Wow. Puts it into different perspective. The firefighter(?) yelling toward the end about needing more trucks because of "multiple, MULTIPLE deaths" was super eerie.

Co-worker's mother died in this fire. Sad. Owners of the bar were totally at fault. Fireproofing was not fireproof, totally negligent.

I remember the night this happened & seeing it all unfold on tv, but I had NO idea there was a video recording from a survivor! They changed / reinforced a LOT of laws following this incident, especially in New England.

I can't stand how some pubs will light their bars on fire as "entertainment" for the punters, always just spur of the moment, with no safety precautions, stupid-arse drunks, etc. I get the fuck out as soon as they ever start that shit, cuz fire is no joke. My house was gone in minutes & doctors said it was a miracle I got out. Funnily enough, I don't remember getting out.
