I don't get this. When people get mowed down, and nearby friends and spectators stand there like mannequins, staring with slack jaws, acting like they just woke up from a long night's sleep. I rarely see anyone reacting quickly to an emergency.

Don't drive drunk, slow the hell down if your visibility is impeded, if you're a pedestrian, make damn sure the way is clear before crossing and move your ass, don't dawdle, if you're too tired to drive pull the hell over and take a nap, etc. Talk about senseless deaths.

Sorry for the rant. I just get annoyed by these.

Fatal accidents usually involve several stupid things happening simultaneously.
