Son Sees His Dad Getting Killed by a Headshot in Front of a Grocery Store

Colombia, Motorcycle taxi driver M. E. L. M, 21, was on the ground, bloodied and dying with a bullet to the head, another bullet in his back and one more to the leg. In front of him was his three-year-old son, yelling "daddy, daddy, get up" witnesses told.

It was 2:44 pm and everything happened in front of a grocery store when the young man was chatting with a cousin on a motorcycle and running an errand.

Those close to the victim say they know the 'thug'.

“His name is 'B' and he lived in the sector a while ago. He killed a 15-year-old cousin of M. E. L. M in July of last year, since then there was a grudge between them, but M. E. L. M had left him alone, he did not look for him to take revenge, instead that guy did threaten him, "said a relative.

He added that “that man was the one who shot him because we saw him when he was running away and also on the security cameras in the area.

The victim, according to relatives, lived just a few houses from the store where he was killed and was on the scene at the time with his son because his wife asked him to run an errand for her.

“That guy is on the run and we hope they catch him because he's a danger. What if a bullet had hit the child? ", said a relative.

According to the Metropolitan Police, the victim had a record for illegal possession of a firearm and another for drug trafficking. His family says that "the only trouble he had was with 'B' because of the death of his cousin."
