The Philippines: Moto Taxi Driver Gunned Down
A HABAL-HABAL driver was shot dead by an unidentified man ths past Friday morning, September 9, 2022, in Sitio Bajac, Barangay Poblacion, Liloan town, Cebu. The victim, E.A., agwd 46, of Purok Mansanitas, Sitio Cogon, Barangay Poblacion, Liloan, was waiting for his daughter outside a pharmacy when he was shot at close range around 11:45 a.m. Friday. He sustained gunshot wounds in the head and body. Police Major Ramil Morpos, chief of Liloan Police Station, said they have started tracing the route of the shooter who was wearing a black sweat shirt and short pants. Morpos said 'E' was sitting on his motorcycle, waiting for his daughter who entered the pharmacy to buy medicine when the gunman arrived. The gunman approached the victim and shot him several times. Morpos said that based on their initial investigation, 'E' was a good person, but they are not discounting the possibility that somebody might have been holding a grudge against him. |

I love how whoever recorded the security footage thought it necessary to film the entire 1 minute and 45 seconds of nothing happening but dude casually backing his bike up, wiping off some sweat, thinking about his general day and what he might have to eat, oh there’s a nice lady and her daughter behind him BAM guys shot at and dead in the last 6 seconds of a 2 minute video.   |
