Re: Son Beheads Father in the Name of Jesus
Real education, with real science and true history are the only way to eradicate that sickness. But why would a government want when religion is such a great tool for controlling the masses? Consider just the number of anti-science climate change deniers, sad fact.

Re: Son Beheads Father in the Name of Jesus
Since you feel like continuing to ignore all of history, and just continue to be Eurocentric because it fits cleanly into your smug worldview, here's a list of the top wars of all time sorted by death toll: WWII: 60-85 million Mongol Conquests of Asia: 40-70 million Three Kingdoms War: 36-40 million Second Sino-Japanese War: ~25 million Qing conquest of Ming Dynasty: ~25 million Taiping Rebellion: 20-100 million WWI: ~20 million An Lushan Rebellion: 13-36 million TL:DR: Only two of the wars listed (WWII and WWI) had anything whatsoever to do with Europe, Christianity, or Abrahamic religion in general. Asia has been proving for about 3000 years that wars/atrocity/human deaths actually have very little to do with religion in general, but pseudo-intellectuals like yourself continue to ignore that fact because it's much cleaner and easier to be smug about something you can clearly ridicule rather than having to deal with the complex realities of human history. |

Re: Son Beheads Father in the Name of Jesus
Nice distraction, but you have proved my point that Christians have killed many more that the Muslims. Thank you for admitting you were wrong. Why did not think that the genocide of the native Americans had nothing to do with history? Read one of those history books that you want me to look at and search for the tern "Manifest Destiny." Then tell me why this is not Christian based war by your count. Then check the index for the term: "Requerimiento." Then explain why you ignored this Christian genocide. Christians nearly wiped out two continents, never mind about their incursions into Africa. Name calling? Why? You know what name calling means in an argument. I don't think religion is the real cause of most modern wars. It is simply a weapon of war used to get people to die for something. Dying is against human nature, but religion perverts this most powerful of all instincts. |

In the name of Jesus? You sure it isn't in the name of Mohammed?
