I am always amazed how complacent people are when facing certain death, do they honestly think if they just sit there, eyes down and not saying a word that the assassin will spare him? Chances of getting away are going to be slim as fuck but it's a change I'd still attempt. This mentality is the exact same reason millions of jews managed to get gassed.
